*Is Shea Oil good for babies and which would you recommend?

Shea Oil is for Everyone! Every household should have a bottle of Shea oil, and we would recommend our Unscented Shea Oil (Ori Nku) for babies & pregnant women.

 

*Does Shea Oil make your skin darker?

Our Shea Oil will not make you darker, but if your skin is exposed to the sun, we recommend you use a sunscreen with a minimum of SPF 50.

 

*Can I apply R&R oils on my hair?

All of our oils are 100% natural and are all multi-functional and suitable for hair, skin and nails.

 

*Can I use your Liquid Black Soap to wash my hair?

As well as being a fantastic facial & body wash, our Liquid Black Soap can also serve as a natural, sulphate-free shampoo for all hair types.

 

*What else can the Shea Oil be used for?

As well as a great-everyday body moisturiser, Shea Oil can be used to soothe minor skin injuries around the house and can also be used as a massage oil. You can find more benefits of Shea Oil here (link to product page).

 

*What's the difference between the Serenity, Unscented and Lemongrass Shea Oil?

Nothing! Absolutely nothing. All three of our Shea Oil variations have the same great benefits for the skin, but the Serenity & Lemongrass Oils have essential oils added to them for scent purposes. P.S: We use only pure essential oil to naturally fragrance our products.

Serenity is our own unique blend and includes lavender, bergamot and ylang ylang. Lemongrass is a firm favourite and provides a refreshing scent.

The Unscented (Ori-Nku) Shea Oil is for those that like to keep it simple, have sensitive skin or prefer to add their own fragrances.

 

*I have very dry skin, which of your products do I use?

All of our natural oils are known for their superior moisturising qualities. For your face, we recommend that you try our Baobab Oil – it is a lightweight, fast-absorbing oil. You can try our Shea Oil for your body and Coconut Oil for your hair!

 

*Do your products expire if not used for a long time?

Our products are made from 100% natural ingredients and have a shelf life close to 3 years. We give a shelf life of 18 months on all of our packaging to be on the safe side as products may have stayed in storage for a short while before being purchased.

 

Being a natural product, in colder weather conditions our oils can begin to appear cloudy and in extreme cold can solidify. If this happens to you, we suggest that you pop it into a cup of hot (not boiling) water to get it back to its original consistency.

*Which of your oils is recommended for hair?

Baobab Oil is a multipurpose oil and can be used for hair, skin and nails. Being cold-pressed and all natural, Baobab Oil is rich in antioxidants and omega fatty acids that help to protect your hair cells and create a health environment for hair growth. It will not strip your hair of its natural moisture and is suitable for all hair types.

 

*Which one of your oils can be used to soothe skin irritation/ allergies?

We recommend our Unscented (Ori Nku) Shea Oil for people with allergies, irritations and sensitive skin. Shea is known to help heal & protect skin cells.

 

*Can I add any fragrance to the Unscented Shea Oil?

Yes, you can add which ever fragrance you like to make you happy. Although, we recommend that you stick to using other natural oils for fragrance.

 

*Can I add the Baobab Oil to my favorite hand cream and what else can it be used for?

Yes, you can if you’d like to. However, Baobab Oil is a great stand-alone oil and works well on its own too. You can find out more about the benefits of the super-oil here (link to product page).

 

*Do you have any stress relieving candles?

Yes, we do! Our scented candles are 100% natural (made from Soy-Wax and using environmentally friendly cotton wicks). Our Serenity Candle contains all the right essential oils to create a very relaxing environment.

 

*Can your products be customised for corporate gifts or private events?

*What are the benefits of using the Coconut Oil?

*How often can I use the Shea Sugar Scrub on my face and body?

The Shea Sugar Scrub can be used 2-3 times per week for smooth, moisturised and glowing skin.

 

*How do I use the Shea Sugar Scrub on my face and body?

Apply it to dry skin before your shower/bath. Rub the Shea Sugar Scrub into skin in round circular movements and then cleanse, using R&R Luxury Liquid Black Soap, for the best results.

 

*What should I do if my order arrives damaged or missing items?

Things happen, so please contact us immediately, via email, with your order number and let us know what is damaged or missing.

 

*My lips get extremely dry during the winter season. Will the lip balm help? Absolutely! Our luxury Lip Butter provides a superior level of moisture for your lips and helps to protect your them all year round. It is also an excellent base for any lip stick, lip gloss or lip stain.

 

*Black Soap Bar vs. Liquid Black Soap. Which one should I get?

It is totally up to you and your preference. The bar soap and liquid are equally as effective in aiding in the health of your glowing skin. If you typically prefer using bar soaps, then try our Black Soap Bar. If you’re more of a shower gel person, our Liquid Black Soap is for you!
