Wellness and Skincare

Some may think that wellness is not related to skincare, however, caring for your body ensures that your inside is a glowing representation of the outside. Take a nap. You need it!

Sleep is the best thing you can do for your skin. As you rest your eyes, your skin renews itself while so missing out on rest can do your face a world of a disservice. When you give yourself between 7 – 9 hours of sleep, you will start to notice glowing skin, a happier appearance, fewer fine lines, and the disappearance of dark circles under the eyes.

Hydration

Hydration is one of the keys needed to keep your skin and overall system healthy. Your skin knows when it lacks the love it requires, and when it is unhappy, your skin will let you know. By drinking at least eight cups a day, you prevent dry skin and flush toxins out of your body which helps the digestive system increase blood flow to your skin. The increase in blood flow will make your skin glow like never.

Meditation

Ready to clear your mind? Sit with yourself and meditate. Many of us are constantly on the go, so our minds are continuously running, which leads to exhaustion. Meditation reduces stress and anxiety, which make us feel overwhelmed and depressed. Those who meditate find that it is one of the most potent natural treatments for insomnia. Some meditation techniques include mindfulness meditation, grateful meditation, walking meditation, and mantra meditation. Set aside five minutes for yourself to start meditating today to help release any stress or anxiety you may have built up.

You are what you eat.

Fruits are nature's candy and are what you need to give yourself glowing and gorgeous skin. Mangoes and oranges are both packed with large amounts of Vitamin C and keeps your skin firm and hydrated. Fruits reduce the appearance of acne scars and breakouts due to their anti-inflammatory properties. If you spend lots of time in the sun, you may want to snack on Pomegranate. Since it is rich in Vitamin C, K, and minerals, pomegranates help reduce sun damage and renews your skin. Having a well-balanced meal can help you feel more alert, protect your heart, prevent disease, and boost your mood.
